Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil. Boil the meat with ginger, pekak, cinnamon, and 1 tablespoon salt until soft and cooked. Lift then drain.
  2. Cut the meat into medium cubes then fry briefly in hot oil until it changes color. Lift then drain. Set aside.
  3. Heat some cooking oil in a frying pan. Saute the ground spices with bay leaves, lime leaves and lemongrass until fragrant and cooked.
  4. Add grated coconut, brown sugar, granulated sugar and salt. Stir well then cook until half dry.
  5. Add the meat pieces. Stir well and cook until dry. Lift.
  6. Ready to be served.
  7. 1. Choose grilled or shank beef. Choose ones that are still fresh and red. 2. To shorten cooking time, the meat can also be pre-cooked for 10 minutes (after the pressure cooker makes a noise).
