Instructions

  1. Steam the skipjack tuna until cooked, then shred the flesh. Set aside.
  2. Boil the noodles until cooked, remove and drain. Add a little cooking oil, then stir well so it doesn't stick.
  3. Noodle soup: Saute the garlic until fragrant, add the shredded skipjack tuna, stir well. Saute until the fish is browned, then add water.
  4. Season with salt, pepper and stock powder. After boiling, add mustard greens and spring onions, stir well. Turn off the heat.
  5. Sambal: Boil the chilies and garlic until soft, then mash them finely. Add salt, vinegar and skipjack sauce, stir well. The chili sauce is ready to use.
  6. Arrange the boiled noodles in a serving bowl or plate, drizzle with cakalang sauce then sprinkle with fried onions.
  7. Serve warm with vinegar chili sauce.
