  1. Mix the wheat flour and rice in a bowl, add the spring onions and lime leaves, stir until evenly mixed.
  2. Pour in water little by little until it reaches the desired consistency level according to taste.
  3. Add the ground spices to the flour mixture, stir until evenly mixed, adjust the taste.
  4. Heat the oil, coat the tempeh in the mendoan mixture, fry until dry and the color turns yellowish or adjust to taste. Flip briefly then lift and drain.
  5. Serve tempeh mendoan while warm, complete with soy sauce.
