Instructions

  1. Boil ground spices with tofu, tempeh, bay leaves, galangal and coconut water until boiling.
  2. Add brown sugar and sweet soy sauce. Stir well and cook over low heat until the spices are absorbed and the water is reduced.
  3. Pour in the sour water. Stir well. Lift.
  4. Heat lots of oil.
  5. Fry the tofu and tempeh over medium heat until brown. Lift and drain.
  6. Ready to be served.
  7. 1. This recipe is not too sweet. If you want it sweeter and darker in color, add brown sugar and soy sauce to taste. 2. This baceman can be eaten straight away without frying. Apart from being fried, baceman can also be grilled before serving. 3.
