Instructions

  1. In a container, mix all the filling ingredients until smooth.
  2. Take a piece of wonton skin. Add 1 tablespoon of the filling mixture. Round and glue. Put a little grated carrot on top. Do this until all the dough is used up.
  3. Steam the dumplings for 20 minutes. Lift.
  4. Gravy: In a saucepan, boil water until boiling. Add sautéed garlic, ginger and chicken bones. Stir well and let it boil again. Season with pepper, sugar and salt. Check the taste then turn off the heat.
  5. Arrange the dumplings in a bowl. Sprinkle with spring onions and celery. Pour in the sauce and sprinkle with fried onions.
  6. Ready to be served.
  7. To make siomay, you can use a small cucing (talam/bowl cake mold). Brush a little oil then put the dumpling skin. Put the dumpling filling mixture and a little carrot shavings on top. Continue with steaming.
