Resep Sate Ponorogo
Each region has its own unique style of satay, exemplified by Ponorogo satay, which features a single, long slice of meat on each skewer.

Ingredients
15 servings
Instructions
- 1. Cut the chicken fillet lengthwise with a thickness of about 0.5 cm. Set aside. 2. In a container, mix the chicken with the spices for the marinade. Stir well then let sit for 25 minutes until the spices are absorbed. 3. Thread each piece of meat onto a skewer. 4. Prepare a grill/burning tool. Grill the satay until cooked on both sides, while brushing with the rub. 5. Ready to be served with peanut sauce and other complementary ingredients.
- 1. Heat a lot of oil. Fry peanuts until cooked. Lift and drain. 2. Continue by frying the garlic, shallots, candlenuts and chilies. Lift and drain. 3. Grind/puree (with a blender) the fried ingredients with the other peanut sauce ingredients. Blend until you get the desired sauce consistency. 4. Ready to serve.
- Make sure the chicken fillet is at room temperature when preparing it, so that the satay can be cooked perfectly from the inside and not dry out.
