Instructions
- Filling Dough: mix all the ingredients well then stir until the dough can be rolled.
- Mix all the skin dough ingredients.
- Divide it into several parts, then add coloring according to taste.
- Pour each portion of dough onto a greased baking sheet. Steam for approximately 25 minutes, cool.
- Remove the dough from the mold and put it on a cutting board sprinkled with sticky rice flour. Cut into 3x3 squares then flatten with a rolling pin.
- Fill the skin with 1 tablespoon of filling mixture. Round again.
- Roll each ball in sticky rice flour and coat the entire surface so they don't stick together.
- Ready to be served.
- 1. You can create the filling mixture according to your taste, for example replacing it with red beans or green beans. 2. To make it more fragrant, you can replace the coloring with food flavoring. 3. Store the mochi cake in a closed container so that the skin doesn't dry out and harden.
