  1. Prepare a steamer/coast pan.
  2. Arrange in a pan: Bay leaves, lime leaves, and galangal in the lowest position. Followed by chopped jackfruit, melinjo leaves, kecombrang, petai, red chilies and grated coconut. Close/put the ground spices in the top position. Steam for 30 minutes. Turn off the heat.
  3. Mix all the steamed ingredients well. Correct the taste.
  4. Arrange white rice on a serving plate. Give megono or the mixture above.
  5. Ready to be served with various other side dishes.
  6. Use medium aged grated coconut, not too old or too young.
