  1. 1. Drain the soaked sticky rice, then steam until half cooked. 2. Add coconut milk and salt. Stir well. 3. Steam the sticky rice again until cooked and fluffy for 30 minutes. Remove and cool. Set aside.
  2. 1. Heat some oil. Saute ground spices with bay leaves, lime leaves and lemongrass until fragrant. 2. Add shredded chicken, coconut milk, salt, ground pepper and stock powder. Stir well and cook until the spices are absorbed and the coconut milk has reduced. Remove and set aside.
  3. 1. Prepare a square baking pan (I used 10x20x4 cm). Cover the base with plastic. Spread oil on it. 2. Take ½ of the sticky rice and put it in a baking dish. Flatten while pressing until solid. 3. Place the shredded chicken filling on top. Flatten while pressing. 4. Place all the remaining sticky rice on top of the shredded chicken. Flatten while pressing. Allow a few moments to set or solidify. 5. Cut the lemper, divide it into 12 parts. 6. Wrap each part of the lemper with banana leaves, leaving both ends open. 7. Ready to serve.
  4. 1. When steaming for the last time, if you feel the sticky rice is not yet soft and fluffy enough, you can add water to the steamer and cook longer. 2.
