  1. Mix all the marinade ingredients, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, ground pepper, salt and sugar. Stir well.
  2. Add the chopped chicken into the marinade, stir well. Let stand 15 minutes until the flavors are absorbed.
  3. After the spices have absorbed, skewer the chicken pieces alternately with the spring onions and bell peppers.
  4. Bake on Teflon with a little oil, occasionally brushing with the remaining marinade.
  5. Bake until chicken is cooked.
  6. Use meat from chicken thighs without skin. Thigh meat is juicier and more flavorful when grilled compared to chicken breast.
