Resep Lapis India Khas Banjar
Lapis India is a sweet snack unique to Banjarmasin, known for its distinct sweetness achieved with brown sugar. This layered cake also incorporates coconut milk and pandan leaves for a rich flavor and aroma.

Instructions
- Heat the steamer first.
- Cook brown sugar, water and pandan leaves until the sugar melts, then strain. Wait until it cools.
- In another container, pour coconut milk, eggs, sweetened condensed milk, hunkwe flour and salt, stir until smooth.
- Add liquid brown sugar, stir again until smooth. Strain so that there are no lumps.
- Grease a 20 x 10 x 7 cm baking pan with cooking oil then put it in the steamer.
- Make sure the steamer's heat is medium to high, and there is a lot of steam.
- Pour 100 ml of mixture into the baking dish, cover the steamer and wait for 7 minutes. Then repeat until the dough is finished.
- Once the layers are cooked, cool them first then cut them into pieces.
- 1. Use medium to high heat to get the characteristic waves of lapis banjar. 2. Every time you pour the mixture, make sure it is stirred to the bottom first so that the consistency is balanced.
