Ingredients

  • 3 cups packed spinach
  • 1 medium very ripe banana (peeled, cut into chunks, and frozen (slightly less than 1 cup))
  • 1 cup whole frozen strawberries (about 10 large/medium berries)
  • ¼ cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or milk of choice
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds

Steps

  1. Place all of the ingredients in a high powered blender in the order listed: spinach, banana, strawberry pineapple, almond milk, and chia seeds.

  2. Blend until smooth. If you’d like a thinner smoothie, splash in a bit more milk. For a thicker smoothie, add a few handfuls of ice. Enjoy immediately, or place in an airtight jar and refrigerate for a few hours.
