Ingredients

2 servings
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger
  • ⅔ cup chicken broth (or chicken stock, or vegetable broth)
  • ⅔ cup water
  • ½ cup less sodium soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • ½ teaspoon white pepper (or black pepper)
  • 1 ½ tablespoons cornstarch

Steps

  1. In a jar with a tight-fitting lid, combine all ingredients. Shake well to mix.

  2. Store in the fridge for up to 1 week. Shake very well before using.

  3. To make a stir fry, cook meat and vegetables in a large skillet with a bit of oil.

  4. Move meat and veggies to one side of the pan and pour the desired amount of stir fry sauce into the empty side. Allow it to simmer until thickened.

  5. Mix well with the meat and vegetables and serve.
