Ingredients

6 servings
  • 1 ½ pounds strip loin (sirloin or ribeye steak)
  • 2 red bell peppers (or green bell peppers)
  • 1 large red onion
  • 8 ounces mushrooms
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon dried rosemary (crushed, or 2 teaspoons fresh chopped rosemary)

Steps

  1. For the marinade, in a medium bowl, combine oil, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic, black pepper, and rosemary.

  2. Cut the steak into 1 ¼-inch pieces and marinate for at least 1 hour or up to 4 hours.

  3. Cut the vegetables into 1-inch pieces. Place the vegetables in a separate medium bowl and toss with 1 tablespoon olive oil, ½ teaspoon salt, and ¼ teaspoon black pepper.

  4. Remove the steak from the marinade allowing excess to drip off. Discard the marinade and thread the steak and vegetables onto skewers.*

  5. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Add the skewers and cook, turning frequently, for 8 to 10 minutes or until the steak reaches the desired doneness.

  6. Remove and rest 5 minutes before serving.
