Ingredients

12 servings
  • 4 to 5 pounds beef chuck roast (boneless)
  • 1 cup chili sauce
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • ¼ cup finely diced white onion
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 ½ tablespoons molasses
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ½ tablespoon dried parsley
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 hamburger buns (for serving)
  • prepared colelsaw (optional, for serving)

Steps

  1. Combine all ingredients except rolls & slaw in the slow cooker.

  2. Cook on low for 8-10 hours or until meat is fork tender.

  3. Remove beef from the slow cooker and shred with a fork.

  4. Skim any fat off of the liquid and add beef back into the sauce. Cook an additional 20-30 minutes.

  5. Serve on rolls with slaw.
