Instructions

  1. Drain and wash the soaked beans.
  2. Put the nuts in a saucepan and add the cinnamon. Cook until the red beans are soft.
  3. Add brown sugar, granulated sugar and salt. Stir well and cook again until the sauce thickens.
  4. Pour in the cornstarch solution. Stir well then cook until the sauce boils and thickens. Turn off the heat and let it cool.
  5. Coconut milk sauce: mix all the coconut milk sauce ingredients, cook over low heat while stirring, remove from heat and let cool.
  6. Serve: Prepare a glass then add 2 tablespoons of red beans. Pour according to taste: coconut milk sauce, shaved ice, cocopandan syrup, and sweetened condensed milk.
  7. Ready to be served.
