  1. Sweet Potato Balls: Puree steamed purple sweet potatoes that are still hot until soft, then add tapioca and granulated sugar, stir well.
  2. Pour water little by little until the texture can be softened. Shape the dough into small candil balls.
  3. Boil water with sugar, salt, pandan leaves until it boils. Once boiling, add the sweet potato balls. Cook until the sweet potato balls float.
  4. Add the tapioca flour solution while stirring, cook until thickened. Turn off the heat, set aside.
  5. Coconut milk sauce: Cook coconut milk, salt and pandan leaves until boiling. Add diluted cornstarch. Stir well until the sauce thickens.
  6. Serve the candil porridge drizzled with coconut milk sauce.
