Instructions

  1. Heat the oil. Saute ground spices with bay leaves, lime leaves and galangal until fragrant.
  2. Add petis, sweet soy sauce and tamarind juice. Stir well.
  3. Add boiled eggs. Stir again.
  4. Pour in the water and season with salt and sugar. Stir well and cook over low heat until the sauce reduces and is absorbed. Lift.
  5. Ready to be served.
  6. Immediately after boiling, place the eggs in a container filled with cold water and allow the shells to cool completely before peeling them. This method is done so that the eggs are easier to peel and are not damaged.
