Maryam bread, also known as cane/canai, can be served as either savory-sweet or sweet. It’s often paired with meat curry for a savory version, or with condensed milk, sprinkles, and shredded cheese for a sweet one.

Instructions
- In a container, mix eggs, cooking oil and warm water. Just stir it evenly.
- Add flour, milk powder and salt. Knead until completely smooth.
- Prepare a baking sheet that has been smeared with cooking oil.
- Divide the dough into 10 equal parts and round.
- Arrange the dough in a baking dish and grease with cooking oil so that the surface doesn't dry out. Cover the pan with plastic wrap or a damp cloth and let sit for 1 hour.
- Take 1 piece of dough and thin it by pressing it. Spread the entire surface with margarine. Roll the dough into an elongated shape. Pull each end and make a circular shape, opposite each other like the letter S. Then stack the two circular parts. Flatten by pressing with the palm of your hand.
- Heat a non-stick or Teflon flat frying pan. Grill the maryam bread until browned on both sides. Lift.
- Ready to be served.
- 1. If Maryam bread will be stored in the freezer, bake Maryam bread until just cooked, no need to brown it. 2. Store the maryam bread on baking paper, put it in an airtight container, and put it in the freezer. In this way, Maryam bread can last for 1-2 weeks.
