Resep Lupis
This recipe features white sticky rice, often steamed in banana leaf pouches until tender. It’s then coated with grated coconut and served with a sweet sauce.

- 1. Drain the sticky rice and wash it thoroughly. Drain again. 2. Mix sticky rice with salt. Stir well. 3. Take a piece of banana leaf. Shape into a triangular or cone shape. Fill with 2 tablespoons of sticky rice until full. Fold the leaves until the sticky rice is covered and forms a triangle. Pin with toothpicks. Do it until it's all finished. 4. Prepare a pressure cooker. Add lupis and pandan leaves. Fill the pan with water up to half the pan. Close tightly then boil over high heat. When a loud or sizzling sound appears, reduce the heat. Boil for 1 hour until cooked. Lift and drain. 5. Kinca Sauce: Boil all ingredients until the sugar dissolves and thickens. Remove then strain. Ready to use. 6. Sprinkling: Mix all ingredients then steam for 15 minutes. Lift and ready to use. 7. Take the lupis and open the banana leaf wrapper. Roll or sprinkle with grated coconut. Drizzle with kinca sauce. 8. Ready to serve.
- 1. Banana leaves should be dried in the sun first so they are soft and don't tear easily when used for wrapping. You can also grill it briefly on the stove. 2.
