Instructions
- Wash the chicken thoroughly, cut according to taste, dry with oil-absorbing tissue or a clean cloth. Then marinate the chicken, season with salt and pepper. Leave in the refrigerator 20 minutes.
- Coat the marinated chicken with a mixture of flour and cornstarch, stir well until the entire chicken is coated in flour.
- Fry chicken until golden brown, drain.
- Sauce: Mix all sauce ingredients except garlic, onion and ginger. Saute garlic, onion and ginger until fragrant. Add the tomato sauce mixture, chili sauce, oyster sauce, honey and sesame oil. Cook until the sauce explodes. Add lime juice and mix well.
- Mix the fried chicken into the sauce, stir until all the spices are evenly coated on the chicken.
- Once cooked, sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.
- To make the chicken crispy, fry the chicken twice. First, cook the chicken over medium low heat until the flour starts to turn yellow. Remove and let rest 5 minutes. Then fry again until cooked in hot oil over medium heat a little higher.
