Ingredients

8 servings
  • ½ cup vegetable or canola oil
  • 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons dry vermouth ((or white wine))
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons whole grain mustard
  • 1 tablespoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black or white pepper
  • 1½ pounds beef flank steak

Steps

  1. In small bowl, combine all of the marinade ingredients and whisk together. Pour into a large zip baggie. Add the steak to the marinade and refrigerate overnight. Turn the bag occasionally to coat well.

  2. Grill the steak 4 to 6-inches above hot coals or on gas grill rack, 5 to 7 minutes per side.
