Ingredients

4 servings
  • ⅓ cup olive oil (or vegetable oil)
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar (or red wine vinegar)
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons Kosher salt (or to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts

Steps

  1. Combine all marinade ingredients in a bowl or freezer bag. Add the chicken and toss well to coat.

  2. Cover or seal the chicken and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours.

  3. Preheat grill to medium high heat.

  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing the excess to drip off. Discard the remaining marinade.

  5. Place chicken on the grill for 7 to 8 minutes. Flip over and cook for an additional 7 to 8 minutes, or until the chicken reaches 165°F.

  6. Transfer to a plate and let rest 3-5 minutes before slicing.
