Ingredients

1 servings
  • ¾ cup unsweetened almond milk (plus additional as needed)
  • 2 ounces (about 2 big handfuls) fresh spinach or roughly chopped kale leaves
  • ½ medium banana (cut into chunks and frozen)
  • ½ cup frozen mango chunks or pineapple chunks
  • 1 tablespoon nut butter of choice (I like almond butter or peanut butter)
  • Ice (optional)
  • Optional Mix-Ins: ½ scoop protein powder (1 tablespoon chia seeds, 1 tablespoon flaxseed meal)

Steps

  1. Place all of the ingredients in the blender in the order listed: almond milk, spinach, banana, mango, nut butter, and any extra mix-ins.

  2. Blend until smooth. If you'd like it a bit thicker, add in a few ice cubes and blend again. Pour and enjoy!
