Instructions

  1. In a container, mash the cassava tape using a fork.
  2. Add flour, granulated sugar and sweetened condensed milk. Stir well.
  3. Pour in the water and stir until smooth.
  4. Cook the tape mixture over low heat until it thickens and explodes. Turn off the heat.
  5. Take one gabin cake. Put the tape mixture on top and spread it evenly. Stack/cover on top with gabin cake then trim the sides. Repeat this step until all the dough is used up.
  6. Heat lots of oil. Fry the gabin tape until it turns brown on both sides. Lift and drain.
  7. Ready to be served.
