  1. Wash the palm fruit until it is really clean. Place it in the pan.
  2. Add the sugar to the pan and stir. Leave for about 15 minutes until the sugar dissolves and becomes runny.
  3. Add lime leaves. Put the pan on the stove and boil until the frond is cooked. Turn off the heat.
  4. Pour in the syrup then stir until smooth.
  5. Leave overnight in the refrigerator to allow the color and flavors to penetrate.
  6. Ready to be served cold.
