- Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
- Boil pandan leaves, brown sugar, granulated sugar and water until dissolved over low heat. Remove and cool.
- Heat the pan/steamer until it steams a lot. Line the lid with a cloth/napkin. Line the steamed sponge cake mold with a paper cup.
- Mix egg yolks until pale. Add the brown sugar solution and wheat flour mixture alternately little by little, while mixing at low speed until smooth.
- Pour in vegetable oil, stir well until homogeneous.
- Pour the mixture into the mold until it is full.
- Put the steamed cake into the steamer pot/boiler, leaving some distance between them. Steam over high heat for 15 minutes. Lift and remove the cake from the mold.
- Ready to be served.

Fill the dough in the paper cup/mold must be full so it can bloom. 3. Preheat the steamer over high heat. However, it wasn't a 'very big' fire, right? Because a very big fire will throw the water up and be absorbed by the dough. So the dough will look fluffy at first, but will slowly shrink, become stiff and wrinkled. 4. Don't open the lid of the steamer/boiler pan before it is cooked. So that the sponge cake can bloom optimally.
