Instructions

  1. 1. Peel vegetables such as potatoes and carrots. Wash all vegetables thoroughly. 2. Cut the potatoes and carrots into medium dice. Coarsely slice the cabbage. 3. Chop the long beans. 4. Heat enough water in a pan until it boils. 5. Take a little boiling water then brew the bean sprouts. Drain then set aside. 6. Boil potatoes, carrots, cabbage and long beans in boiling water until cooked. Remove and drain, then set aside. 7. Cut the cucumber into pieces, then set aside. 8. Roughly slice the lettuce or leave it whole, according to taste. Set aside.
  2. 1. Grind 1 clove of garlic and salt. Add a little water. Soak the tempeh and tofu in it. Fry in hot oil. Remove and drain, then cut into medium dice. Set aside. 2. Cut the rice cake into medium dice. Set aside.
  3. 1. Wash the peanuts thoroughly. Fry in hot oil. Remove and drain, then leave to cool. Grind the nuts using a blender until smooth. Set aside. 2. Dissolve tamarind with 3 tablespoons hot water. Strain and take the water. Set aside. 3. Heat oil, saute ground spices and lime leaves until fragrant. 4. Add ground peanuts, stir well. 5. Add coconut milk, brown sugar, sweet soy sauce and salt. Stir until smooth and cook until boiling. 6. Add tamarind water, stir well. 7. Cook until the sauce thickens and adjust the taste. 8. Remove and set aside.
  4. 1. Arrange on a plate the rice cake pieces, potatoes, tofu, tempeh, and all the vegetables. Add boiled eggs split into 2 parts. 2. Pour peanut sauce according to taste. 3. Sprinkle with fried shallots and serve with shrimp crackers.
  5. 1. Don't boil vegetables for too long, especially cabbage and long beans, so that you can still feel the texture. 2.
