Ingredients

1 servings
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 2 cups baby spinach (about 2 large handfuls)
  • 1/2 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt (or dairy-free yogurt of choice)
  • 3 tablespoons old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen mixed berries (I used a blend of blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 -3 teaspoons honey (or swap agave or maple syrup to make vegan, plus additional to taste)

Steps

  1. Place the ingredients in a high-powered blender in the order listed: almond milk, spinach, yogurt, oats, berries, turmeric, ginger, and 2 teaspoons honey.

  2. Blend until smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness as desired. If you do not have a high-powered blender, I recommend blending the almond milk, spinach, and yogurt first, and then adding the other ingredients. Enjoy immediately.
