  • 3 cups marinated tomatoes (this is a full recipe of marinated tomatoes)
  • 1 cup marinade liquid (use every bit of the liquid from the marinated tomatoes recipe)
  • ¾ teaspoon kosher salt (adjust to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground pepper (adjust to taste)

Steps

  1. Cook the pasta according to the directions on the package, adding a generous tablespoon or so of kosher salt to the water as it cooks. Drain, but do not rinse.

  2. Combine the pasta, tomatoes, and marinade in a large bowl. Toss well to coat. Taste the pasta and season generously with salt and pepper, stir again and taste. Adjust seasonings as needed.
