  1. Peel the purple sweet potato skin, wash it clean, cut it into two parts, steam until cooked.
  2. Mash while hot with the help of a fork or pestle.
  3. Mix the sticky rice flour and salt then stir well.
  4. Add purple sweet potato. Knead until mixed.
  5. Add water a little at a time until the dough can be kneaded.
  6. Boil water and pandan leaves in a pan.
  7. Meanwhile, take a small amount of dough, around 20 grams, flatten the dough, fill it with brown sugar and make it into a ball.
  8. Put it straight into boiling water. If it floats immediately remove it, drain it and roll it in grated coconut. Ready to be served.
