Madu mongso is a sweet snack with a slightly sour, characteristic flavor of Ponorogo, made from black sticky rice. This traditional treat is often served during Eid celebrations or given as a gift.

Instructions
- Boil coconut milk, brown sugar, granulated sugar, salt and pandan leaves. Cook until it boils and the sugar dissolves.
- Add the sticky rice tape, stir well.
- Continue to cook until the water is reduced and the mixture thickens, cooks and is smooth.
- Cool in a container, until the mongso honey is completely cold.
- Mongso honey is ready to be packaged in small plastic pieces, producing around 20 pieces.
