Ingredients

  • ½ cup (1 Stick) butter
  • ½ cup milk chocolate pieces ((or chips))
  • 3 ounces unsweetened chocolate, (chopped)
  • 1 cup granulated white sugar
  • 1½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • ⅔ cup all purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • One 4.63 ounce package (10 Squares) truffled filled chocolate squares

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Line a 9x9 inch baking pan with foil, extending the foil over the edges of the pan. Coat the foil with nonstick cooking spray; set the pan aside.

  2. In a medium saucepan heat and stir the butter, milk chocolate and unsweetened chocolate over low heat until melted and smooth; cool slightly. Stir in the sugar and vanilla until combined. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating with a wooden spoon after each addition.

  3. In a small bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder and salt. Add the flour mixture to the chocolate mixture; stir just until combined. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading evenly.
