Ingredients

  • ½ cup cocoa
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tablespoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour*

  • ½ cup tapioca starch
  • ⅓ cup potato starch
  • ¼ cup butter (softened)
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • ¼ cup cocoa
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 5 tablespoons milk

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13 baking pan or line with parchment paper. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the butter, cocoa, brown sugar, and white sugar. Add the eggs and the vanilla. Whisk again until smooth. Add the flour and stir until combined.

  2. Pour into the prepared pan and use a spatula to spread the thick batter to the corners. Bake for 22-24 minutes, until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
