Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sticky rice flour and instant yeast. Stir well then add granulated sugar and salt, stir again.
  2. Add water and cooking oil, stir until evenly mixed. Make sure the texture of the dough is slightly soft.
  3. Cover the dough with a clean napkin and let the dough rest for 1 hour at room temperature.
  4. Filling: Puree the roasted peanuts, mix with palm sugar and ground cinnamon, stir well. Set aside.
  5. After the dough has risen, grease your hands with oil then knead the dough briefly.
  6. Take enough dough, flatten it then add 1 tablespoon of filling or to taste. Close the dough tightly. Place the dough on a tray that has been smeared with cooking oil so that the dough doesn't stick.
  7. Heat the Teflon with a little oil, fry the Hotteok while pressing it so it becomes flat.
  8. Fry until brown, then remove from heat. Serve warm.
