- ½ cup (1 stick) butter, (at room temperature)
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, (minced)
- 1¼ teaspoons Italian seasoning
- ground black pepper, (to taste)
- Italian bread, (for serving)

In a large bowl, combine the butter, Parmesan cheese, garlic, Italian seasoning and black pepper. Stir until well-combined.

To prepare garlic bread, pre-heat the oven to the broil setting. Slice your bread loaf in half lengthwise; spread each half generously with the garlic bread spread. Place the bread on a baking sheet.

Broil the bread on the middle rack of the oven until the bread is your desired shade of golden brown. Watch it carefully so it doesn't burn! Slice and serve.
