Instructions

  1. Drain the soaked green beans, then put them in a pan with water. Boil until the green beans are tender and the water runs out. Puree the green beans until they are half crushed/coarse.
  2. Cook the green beans again with coconut milk, pandan leaves, vanilla, salt, granulated sugar and brown sugar. Stir until smooth and the coconut milk is gone. Turn off the heat.
  3. While warm, shape the green bean mixture into a flat round shape. Do this until the dough is finished and set aside.
  4. In a container, mix all the dipping ingredients until smooth. Set aside.
  5. In a frying pan, heat a lot of oil.
  6. One by one, take the green bean mixture, dip it in the dipping agent, then fry it in hot oil. Fry until it turns brown and cooked. Lift and drain.
  7. Ready to be served.
  8. Shape the gandasturi while the green bean mixture is still warm so it doesn't break easily.
