Crispy Roasted Chickpeas
A few simple ingredients and high heat transform humble chickpeas into a golden, crispy, totally delicious snack.

- 1 (15-oz) can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Steps

Preheat the oven to 425° F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with heavy-duty aluminum foil.

Place the chickpeas on the prepared baking sheet and toss with the olive oil, salt and pepper. Roast for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring once, until the chickpeas are slightly shrunken and crispy. Let cool.
