Ingredients

  • 4 flatbreads (or naan)
  • 1½ cups cooked chopped chicken (or shredded)
  • ½ cup barbecue sauce (plus additional for serving)
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded pizza cheese blend (see notes)
  • 1 small red bell pepper (thinly sliced)
  • ¼ red onion (thinly sliced)
  • chopped fresh cilantro (for garnish, optional)

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a small bowl, mix the BBQ sauce and pizza sauce.

  3. Arrange the flatbreads on the baking sheet and spread the sauce evenly over each one, leaving a small border around the edges.

  4. Top with cooked chicken, red bell pepper, and red onion slices.

  5. Sprinkle cheese evenly over each flatbread.

  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are crisp and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  7. Remove from the oven. Drizzle with additional BBQ sauce and sprinkle with fresh cilantro if desired. Slice and serve warm.
