Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs (700 grams) chicken thighs
  • 2 inch (5 cm) ginger (peeled and chopped)
  • 3 cloves garlic (peeled and chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 3 dashes white pepper
  • 1 pinch salt

Steps

  1. Rinse the chicken thighs and pat them dry with paper towels. Add the ginger and garlic, rubbing them gently onto the chicken thighs. Add the remaining ingredients and stir to coat well.

  2. Set aside to marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  3. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange the chicken on a tray lined with aluminum foil and bake for 40 minutes in the center of the oven.

  4. Or until the surface turns golden brown and slightly charred, and the inside of the chicken thighs is fully cooked. Serve immediately.
