Ingredients

2 servings
  • 4 slices wheat bread
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 ounces cheddar cheese (sliced, provolone or mozzarella)
  • 1 medium tomato (sliced)
  • 4 leaves lettuce
  • 6 -8 slices deli sliced turkey (or 4 slices leftover turkey)
  • ¼ cup cranberry sauce

Steps

  1. Lightly toast the bread.

  2. Spread mayonnaise on 2 of the slices of toasted bread.

  3. Top with cheese, turkey, lettuce, and tomatoes. Season with salt & pepper if desired.

  4. Spread remaining slices of bread with cranberry sauce and top sandwich.

  5. Cut in half and serve.
