Instructions
- Cook rice, cassava, yellow sweet potato, sweet corn and lemongrass with 900 ml of water.
- After the water has reduced, then add the remaining 900 ml of water again, stir well. Cook until the corn and sweet potatoes are soft.
- Add salt, stock powder and pepper powder, stir well. Adjust the taste according to taste.
- Add spring onions, spinach, kale and pumpkin, stir well.
- Cook briefly until the vegetables wilt, turn off the heat. Add basil, mix well.
- Saute the chopped garlic in 3 tablespoons of cooking oil until fragrant and golden yellow, stirring constantly so that the onion doesn't burn.
- Pour the sauteed garlic and oil into the porridge, stir well.
- Serve warm with shrimp paste chili sauce and fried salted fish. Can also be served with dabu-dabu chili sauce.
- Soak the rice first in water for approximately 1 hour. The goal is to make the rice soft quickly when cooked.
