Ingredients

  • 4 cups boneless skinless chicken breasts, (cooked and shredded)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, (minced)
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup chunky salsa, (or salsa verde)
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth, (more if needed)
  • flour tortillas
  • 1 lime, (juiced)

Steps

  1. Boiled Chicken

  2. Instant Pot Shredded Chicken

  3. Instant Pot Frozen Chicken

  4. Rotisserie Chicken (storebought)

  5. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil. Add the garlic, and sauté for 30 seconds.

  6. Add the shredded chicken, onion powder, cumin, chili powder, and salt. Cook for 1 more minute.

  7. Stir the salsa, chicken broth, and the juice of one lime into the chicken mixture.

  8. Stir and heat through for about 5 minutes.

  9. Season with additional salt if needed.

  10. Serve in warm tortillas with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
