Ingredients

12 servings
  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1 14 -ounce can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 5 -ounce can 2% evaporated milk
  • 2 tablespoons granulated white sugar
  • 16 ounces fresh strawberries ((or 16-ounces frozen, thawed))
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Steps

  1. Whisk the first four ingredients in a large bowl until blended. Process the strawberries, lemon juice, and salt in a blender or food processor until smooth. Stir into the milk mixture. Cover and chill until very cold (at least 4 hours, but preferably overnight).

  2. Pour into the freezer container of an ice cream maker and process according to the manufacturer's instructions.

  3. Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container, and freeze until firm.
