Lemon Asparagus

- 1 bunch asparagus (about 1 pound)
- 1 lemon
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- ½ teaspoon Kosher salt (or to taste)
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon shredded Parmesan cheese
Steps
Preheat the oven to 425°F.
Rinse the asparagus and dab dry. Snap off woody stems.
Zest ½ teaspoon of lemon zest. Cut the lemon in half and juice 1 tablespoon of juice. Reserve the remaining half for serving.
Place the asparagus on a rimmed baking sheet and toss with olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, garlic, salt, & pepper.
Sprinkle parmesan cheese over top.
Roast 6-12 minutes* or just until tender crisp.
