Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds fresh salmon
  • salt (to taste)
  • ground black pepper (to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 3 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh thyme

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to broil on high, and position a rack in the center of the oven. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Lay 1 ½ pounds fresh salmon skin side down on the parchment paper and sprinkle salt and ground black pepper over the top of it.

  3. In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons olive oil, 1 tablespoon dijon mustard, 1 tablespoon honey, 3 teaspoons minced garlic, 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley, and 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh thyme. Spread evenly over the salmon.

  4. Place the baking sheet on the center rack about 6 inches from the heat, and broil for 6-8 minutes or until desired doneness.
