Ingredients
- 2 cups Fruity Pebbles cereal (plus more for serving)
- 1½ cups whole milk
- 1½ cups heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (about half of a lemon's worth)
- ⅔ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ⅛ teaspoon kosher salt
Steps

Combine the cereal and the milk in a bowl and let sit for 30 minutes. Place a fine mesh strainer over a large mixing bowl and pour the cereal mixture through the strainer into the bowl. Discard the soggy cereal from the strainer.

Add the cream, lemon juice, sugar, vanilla, and salt to the cereal milk. Whisk to combine and then pour into the ice cream maker.

Churn according to the manufacturer's instructions. Serve immediately for soft serve ice cream or transfer to an airtight container and store in the freezer until ready to serve.

To serve, scoop into bowls and top each serving with a handful of cereal.
