Ingredients

  • ½ cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt)
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley (or 1 tablespoon freshly chopped )
  • 1½ teaspoons dried dill (or 2 teaspoons freshly chopped)
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper (or to taste)
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 2 medium dill pickles (grated, optional)
  • 3 to 4 tablespoons dill pickle juice

Steps

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk sour cream, mayonnaise, parsley, dill, onion powder, garlic powder, pepper, and cayenne if using.

  2. If using, grate the dill pickle with the larger side of a box grater and add to the dressing.

  3. Stir in the dill pickle juice, 1 tablespoon at a time, to reach desired consistency.

  4. Transfer to a mason jar and refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving. Shake well before serving.
