Ingredients

4 servings
  • 10 small corn tortillas (cut into triangles)
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • canola oil (for frying)
  • 1 banana (sliced)
  • 1 cup chopped fresh strawberries
  • ¼ cup chopped toasted walnuts
  • ¾ cup whipped topping (such as Cool Whip)
  • ¼ cup chocolate sauce
  • ¼ cup caramel sauce

Steps

  1. Heat 1 ½ inches of oil in a large pot until it reaches 350°F. Line a baking sheet with paper towels. Combine sugar and cinnamon together.

  2. Cooking in batches of 3-4, cook tortillas for 1-2 minutes flipping halfway through cooking. Tortillas should be golden brown and crispy.

  3. Place on the lined baking sheet and sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar mixture immediately.

  4. Fill the serving board with half of the tortillas, top with your desired toppings. Repeat the process once more.

  5. Drizzle with chocolate and caramel sauces and top with whipped cream.
