Ingredients

6 servings
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, trimmed (about 6 large berries (frozen berries that have been thawed will also work))
  • 1 small banana
  • ⅔ cup fresh or frozen (and thawed) cherries (about 16 cherries)
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon almond extract
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup small bubble gum balls

Steps

  1. Combine the strawberries, banana, cherries, sugar, salt, vanilla extract, and milk in the blender. Blend until smooth. Add the cream and pulse to combine.

  2. Pour into the ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

  3. Transfer the finished ice cream to an airtight container and gently stir in the bubble gum balls. Place in the freezer until ready to serve.
